Leadership Refresher

The learning journey continues with a refresher course so that theory and practice can be used effectively in everyday life. In the refresher program, leadership skills are refreshed, individual challenges are treated as cases and content-related topics are explored in greater depth. Managers with more than two years of management experience benefit particularly from the Leadership Refresher.

The foundation for your leadership skills has been laid. You know what kind of leader you want to be and what constitutes good leadership. Nevertheless, you sometimes reach your limits. Especially in stressful situations, you don’t always know how to deal with a specific challenge. Theoretical knowledge that is not sufficiently applied in everyday life is forgotten.

Learning content

  • Individual learning requirements and real case work:

    • You have certainly been and still are confronted with various challenges in your role as a manager. We pick up on these as required and work together as a group to develop options for action for your cases.
  • Leadership Identity:

    • Identities are multi-layered, socially constructed and therefore changeable. That’s why we ask ourselves the question about your desired identity: “How would you like to be as a manager?”. We often lack clarity about a concrete target image and the courage to try out the desired identity. We are therefore walking the path together.
  • Manager as coach:

    • If you want to develop your employees as a manager, you can draw on coaching skills to initiate changes in behavior through questioning techniques and to find out which individual solution areas are suitable for the team member.
  • Communication and feedback:

    • For you as a manager, giving and receiving feedback are your most valuable resources for constantly optimizing your own and others’ behavior. So you and your team can only improve by communicating your perceptions and wishes – and doing so effectively. We look at how you can achieve an effective exchange.
  • Establish a culture of error, learning and performance:

    • Those who work together in an open error culture recognize that mistakes are the most valuable opportunities for learning. Only those who learn will continue to develop and perform even better. It is precisely this cultural interplay – and your options for action to establish a conducive culture of error, learning and performance – that we address.
